I’m so excited to share another custom Signature Beauty session by Samuel Rivera Photography! This session took place in our Orange County California studio in Brea. We not only had an opportunity to capture Artistic Bridal Boudoir Signature Beauty images, but we took it a step further and capture two other completely different looks, a dark edgy Glamor portrait and a beautiful ethereal tone.
We met with Brittany and just love that she is truly the girl next door, she is absolutely beautiful and such a sweetheart. She made such a beautiful bride and was so excited to do her own Signature Beauty Session by Samuel Rivera Photography after the wedding. We met with her and started to plan out different looks and concepts and she absolutely loved the idea of stepping outside the box to capture such different elements. So we partnered up and worked out the wardrobe planning and the shoot came together.
For our ethereal look we wanted to incorporate floral elements with more earth tones to create a subtly to the piece, which with the natural tones we executed perfectly, it helped to compliment the innocence Brittany portrayed. For our Bridal Boudoir we were able to incorporate pieces she actually wore on her wedding day, it helped to make these portraits, fun and sexy but very classy at the same time. We added subtle details to help tie in the look such as a full veil, long satin gloves. Minor details really help to bring it all together. For our last look we went complete opposite of the spectrum and dug deep for our dark angel piece. We wanted to introduce textured elements to help make the image multi-dimensional, which we couldn’t have been more happy with. From feathers, to lace and satin….. This is one of my all-time favorite images. Who would have thought that our girl next door pulled this look off with such ease and had so much fun doing it?!
We brought in our in house hair and makeup artist Briana, who never ceases to amaze me. She is so in tuned with the look we are going for and really hits it right on point every time. She started with our classic ethereal look, to our fun, flirty Glamour bridal boudoir look and finished off with our dark and edgy fierce look.
Once we got into the studio and started shooting Brittany was incredible, we always have fun in our Orange county studio. Our Fashion sessions are a blast and we enjoy the entire process, especially the end result.
It is always such a proud moment having our clients come into our Brea studio to see the results of their Signature Beauty Portraits. It is such a unique process and experience for everyone involved. We enjoy pushing the envelope and bringing new and challenging concepts to life.
